GBTS Panels
MolBreeding collaborated with Dr. Xu Yunbi’s team (CAAS-CIMMYT), has developed a series of GBTS panels, including from 1K – 45K (GenoBaits®). These panels can serve an effective and efficient tool for genotyping and population structure classification, and genome prediction analysis.
This Panel SNPs were selected from 20 sequenced pan-genomes and 1,520 germplasm data collected worldwide. Through validation and optimization, Molbreeding designed 14,868 mSNP capture regions (total 37,669 SNPs markers) into one liquid chip. This 16K panel can be used for germplasm evaluation and linkage map construction.
This Panel is based on the newest wheat reference genome: IWGSC RefSeq V2.1. Total 1.7M probes were designed to fit into this exome capture kit, which cover 132.83 Mbps wheat CDS regions.
This Panel is made of more than 40,234 marker regions and a total of 59,903 high-quality SNPs, suitable for most of soybean breeding programs and mapping applica-tions.
Total 52K probes is made of this procine panel, and were validated in commercial breeding lines. The 1K panel contains 1,200 SNP selected markers, which can be used for parental verification, pedigree correction and breed composition analysis.
This Panel was developed from resequencing 587 sheep breeds and wild relatives. ~6K breeding selection regions are also included to differentiate flocks from different regions, Asian and Europe, and Pacific. There regions were very informative in QTL analysis based on their SNP frequency, density and LD etc.
In this panel, total 53,128 SNP sites were targeted, including 3,086 functional sites, such as ammonia tolerance, VpAHPND resistance, WSSV resistance, feed conversion efficiency, harvest weight, etc.
This panel has been validated in different mapping populations and can be used for research work such as analysis of genetic structure and genetic diversity.
